The Enchanted Bookshop Homeschool Kids (7-12) Performance Class
Directed by Alexandra Rovirosa
A homeschool theatre experience where stories awaken — and students shine.
By day, A Likely Story is a quiet used bookstore.
But when the lights go out, the stories on the shelves come to life.
This spring, homeschool students are invited to join the magic as they bring The Enchanted Bookshop to the stage — a heartwarming comedy where beloved literary heroes like Dorothy Gale, Robin Hood, Pollyanna, Sherlock Holmes, Heidi, and Tom Sawyer join forces to save their beloved bookstore from a pair of bumbling smugglers.
It’s a celebration of imagination, courage, and the joy of learning through story — designed especially for the homeschool community.
About the Class
Led by Alexandra Rovirosa, a homeschool graduate and seasoned theatre educator, this 12-week performance class nurtures creativity, collaboration, and confidence in a warm, supportive environment for students ages 7-12. Students will explore acting, movement, and character development while rehearsing for a fully staged performance on April 25, 2026.
Alexandra understands the unique spirit of homeschool learners — their curiosity, independence, and heart — and crafts her classes to inspire artistic growth while fostering friendship and community.
Through theatre, students gain not only stage experience, but real-world skills in communication, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.
