Rising Voices

Professional Coaching for Young Actors

At A Place For Us Productions, we believe every young actor carries a spark within them—a voice ready to rise, a story ready to be told. Our Rising Voices program is more than just acting lessons. It’s a one-on-one coaching experience designed to nurture not only performance skills, but the whole person behind them.

What Makes Rising Voices Different?

Acting isn’t just about memorizing lines or standing under a spotlight—it’s about truth, empathy, and courage. That’s why we created a unique curriculum that blends traditional acting training with a guided journaling practice tailored for young artists.

Through this combination, students will:

  • Build confidence in their craft while discovering their own voice.

  • Learn techniques in presence, character, and storytelling.

  • Explore self-reflection through journaling, learning to name emotions, challenges, and breakthroughs.

  • Develop resilience and awareness that will serve them not just on stage, but in friendships, school, and life.

The Journaling Practice

Each session invites students to step off the stage and onto the page. With thoughtful prompts, they’ll learn how to listen inwardly—tracking what inspires them, what challenges them, and what helps them grow. This practice is designed to:

  • Strengthen emotional intelligence.

  • Foster creative independence.

  • Connect artistic growth with personal growth.

By giving young actors tools to understand themselves more deeply, we prepare them to meet any role—and any real-world moment—with authenticity and courage.
