After the success of our premiere show “She Loves Me” in 2023, and the amazing “A Tale of Two Cities the Musical” in 2024, A Place For Us Productions is proud to present our 2025 musical, the fantasmagorical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
Based on the beloved 1968 film version of Ian Fleming’s children’s book, and featuring an unforgettable score by the Sherman Brothers, the story follows the eccentric inventor Caractacus Potts, his two children Jeremy and Jemima, and his lady friend Truly Scrumptious, and their many adventures with their magical car, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Directed by Alexandra Rovirosa, we are thrilled to be presenting Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as our first ever immersive experience, and to be leading the way for immersive theatre experiences in the non-professional Kansas City theatre scene!
Hosted in our beautiful new home at The CO-OP at Shoal Creek, our audience will step into the world of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and will get to experience an incredible up close and personal show that the whole family will love!
